Kanishka’s weaves telias in Orissa as well as Andhra Pradesh, that use oil (tel) as a resist to the yarn dyeing process that defines this technique. Motifs are geometric and intricate in nature and our weavers adhere to a very ancient measuring technique in counting the weft to produce these sarees.
